The Applied Information Management (AIM) Institute and the Midwest Center for Information Technology (MCIT) are pleased to present the Working Connections IT Conference, which will be held from June 25-29, 2007, at Iowa Western Community College. This is the fourth Working Connections conference in the Midwest and it is sponsored by the AIM Institute and the MCIT consortium of community colleges. The institute is designed to help IT faculty from community colleges and high schools, as well as IT industry professionals from businesses, stay current with trends and new developments in Information Technology. There are ten tracks for this year's conference and an impressive group of instructors. Click the links on the sidebar to find the syllabi for each course and information about the instructor.

The Working Connections conferences were started as a fresh, new approach to faculty development through a partnership between the American Association of Community Colleges (AACC), Microsoft, and National Workforce Center for Emerging Techologies (NWCET). The original goal was to help community college IT faculty stay current in their field through a one-week professional development event. AIM and MCIT have expanded the conference to include high school IT instructors as well as business and industry IT professionals. Each conference track is 5 days of intensive, hands-on instruction which allows the attendees to develop a thorough understanding of the topic.
